Obama has upper hand

After 10 consecutive defeats — including a heartbreaker in tailor-made Wisconsin on Tuesday — Hillary Rodham Clinton can't win the nomination unless Obama makes a major mistake or her allies reveal something damaging about the Illinois senator's background. Don't count her out quite yet, but Wisconsin revealed deep and destructive fractures in the Clinton coalition.

Maybe Al Gore could have saved her, but he refused to show any support for Hillary.  At this point, there's no conventional political solution for a Hillary nomination.  She's lost control of the press, and the pols no longer fear the Clinton machine.  Obama has the hearts and minds of the people. The silver lining for Hillary is that she doesn't need Bill anymore.  Try again next time without him.  Maybe she'll do better as a truly liberated woman.
