It's well known that I will vote against McCain. I don't want him to be president. However, I think it's silly to say that he's not eligible because he's not a "natural born citizen" as required by the Constitution. The NY Times and various bloggers are trying to stir up a controversy. Frankly, all this discussion helps McCain because it makes him more sympathetic and plays up his military background. So let's settle it right now: he's eligible. Vote against him if you don't like that. Actually, vote against him either way.

By the way, they also point out that no one can find any Supreme Court decision about Barry Goldwater's eligibility.
