So it sounds like everyone should be happy with the result. I think the NFL did the right thing. There's no need to turn this into a big controversy.
They didn't say so explicitly, but I also think it shows some respect for the memory of Pat Tillman, who might have been playing in the Super Bowl this year had he not volunteered for the Army after 9/11.
